We are available for outreach functions at fitness venues, churches, weddings, baby showers, kids’ birthday parties, family reunions, and other group gatherings. If you don’t see yours, just ask!

ABOUT PHIT
Physical inactivity is a big concern for people of all ages in the United States, and it is something we can all work together to change. The great news is that you do not have to be a certified personal trainer to get involved and make a difference! Research shows that by the time kids reach middle school, around 50-60% are likely to be physically inactive or even deal with obesity. This is a wake-up call for our communities. Much of this trend can be attributed to our ever-evolving technology—think about how much time we spend on the internet, playing video games, or using our phones. Plus, poor eating habits and the unhealthy food options available to us do not help either.
To tackle these issues head-on, I created a program called PHIT (Putting Health Into Today) back in 2001. This program is all about inspiring both kids and adults to get active and make healthier choices in a fun and exciting way! With PHIT, we focus on enjoying physical activity and discovering how it can be a rewarding part of our lives.

Participants get to dive into a variety of fun physical activities, whether that’s playing sports, trying out new exercises, or participating in classic fun games that suit everyone’s interests and fitness levels. We also emphasize the importance of making better nutritional choices and understanding how delicious healthy eating can be. One of the best parts of PHIT is that it creates a friendly community where everyone can cheer each other on during their health journeys. Making friends and building connections is just as important as getting fit!
In addition to having fun, PHIT helps everyone develop good habits by incorporating a set of rules and clear expectations. This way, we foster a sense of accountability in a supportive environment. We also celebrate everyone's progress with a rewarding system that recognizes milestones and achievements, helping to keep motivation high. Together, through PHIT, we can encourage one another to take charge of our health and work towards a lively, healthy future!
